For smartwatches, the Microsoft Band, priced at $200, the Motorola Moto 360, priced at $300, and the Pebble, priced at $99, are the most highly recommended. The Polaroid Cube, which costs $100, and the HTC Re, which costs $200 offer a miniature video camera. For those looking for a high performance tablet, there's the Apple iPad Air 2 ($499) or the Lenovo Yoga Tablet 2 Pro ($470).

CNET has also made a recommendation as for one of the top Holiday in the August Smart Lock. Priced at almost $250, it can be quite expensive, however; the reviews say that it is worth the investment.

Basically, the August Smart Lock, as the name already suggests, is a safety and security product. Installation is a breeze, and the fact that it has impressive aesthetics is a bonus. It also works with existing deadbolts, something that other smart locks have failed at, putting it at an advantage over the competition.

The main pitfall of the device though is that it can only run on Bluetooth, which means that the problems that may arise from its use are similar to those of the other Bluetooth smart lock products out there. However, all its features combined make it the best of its kind so far.
