Lincoln has an explanation about the twist that happened and also why his character wants a dead man to shut up. His interview with Entertainment Weekly gave enlightenment to fans about the real deal of the twist and also some possible future events on the show that fans should look forward to.

The first is his answer to the question as to what did he feel about the death of Emily Kinny's character, Beth. He said that he didn't even expect that at all. He got nothing but great words about his co-star and how adorable she is on the set. He was sad for the fact the he did a lot of shooting of the episode that he wasn't able to really have time with Beth's character.

The whole action scene was definitely intense for the actor and losing Beth was an emotional one. He even said that for the third season, he pitched the idea to the writers about Beth having a crush on Rick, but Rick wouldn't know how to manage that.

He also explained the whole "shut up" scene was actually meant for Gareth (Andrew J. West). Now, as to when it will return on TV to continue and finally conclude Season 5, catch it on February 8, 2015, 9PM on AMC.
