Graphene is a substance consisting of "a single layer of carbon atoms," according to BBC. Graphite is the main source of this material, which is one of the main reasons for its very impressive properties.

Graphene is a lot stronger compared to steel; has higher conductivity compared to copper and is more flexible than rubber. It prospects are so enticing the British government has become extremely interested in it.

Graphene also has properties that can be very useful for many different industries and applications.

Business Insider pointed out this material, which is made of pure carbon and has a thickness of only one atom, is almost transparent when spread out.

Compared to steel, the wonder material is 200 times stronger. Compared to Saran Wrap, it's 60,000 times thinner.

Furthermore, the super material extracted from graphite has also shown impressive energy conducting properties.

The plethora of applications graphene can be used for hasn't been fully explored.
