It seems the power of four isn't enough to stop Taylor Swift from reclaiming the No. 1 spot. She's now back on top, as the newly revamped U.S. Billboard 200 album chart revealed Wednesday that the country-turned-pop singer landed the No. 1 spot.
The list is now said to be more accurate and specifically reflects the actual taste of music consumers.

Swift's album, 1989, soared from last week's No. 2 to No. 1 with album sales totaling to 339,000 units. The result is based on a combined physical album sales, digital song sales and online streaming figures, according to Nielsen SoundScan.
Billboard 200 chart used to count only physical and digital U.S. album sales. The new standard now includes digital song downloads, which counts 10 songs as equivalent to one album sale. Meanwhile, 1,500 streams equal one album unit.
For 1989's case, the album sold 281,000 copies of physical album, 580,000 songs purchased individually and 36,000 streams. Swift's meager stream is attributed to the songstress' decision to pull out her catalog from Spotify.
Meawhile, a cappella band Pentatonix rose to No. 2 from last week's No. 3 as their album, That's Christmas to Me sold 227,000 units.
Rapper Eminem marked his first week on the chart at No. 3, with his newest album, ShadyXV made 148,000 sales.
Last week's chart-topping act, British boy band One Direction, made the steep drop from No. 1 to No. 4, with their new album Four, selling 125,000 units.
Rounding up the top 10 is rapper Rick Ross, who with his album Hood Billionaire, sits on the sixth spot, R&B singer Beyonce, with Beyonce: More Only EP, at No. 8.
Beyonce's album is part of the platinum edition of her self-titled 2013, which was re-released last week.
Swift's single, "Blank Space," managed to secure the top spot, selling 342,000 copies.
Meanwhile, Actress Jennifer Lawrence, made a surprise when her single, James Howard's "Hanging Tree," which she performed in her latest film, Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1, landed the No. 2 spot, selling 200,000 digital copies.
