For those already running Microsoft Windows 8, you know that plenty of bugs plagued this OS when it was first released.

Windows 8 was followed by an update in the form of the Microsoft Windows 8.1 but many still opted not to update their OS out of fear bugs might still be around. This Microsoft OS version did get better, though.

So when it was announced \ Microsoft Windows 10 will soon be made available, consumers were actually surprised.

According to File Hippo, Microsoft made the announcement during a small event in San Francisco, California. It was at the same event that the developer preview of the newest in-the-works operating system was shown.

Microsoft is also said to be planning a bigger event for the Windows 10 consumer edition. This launch is the most-awaited paart of the event that will take place January 2015.

A lot of developers will all be attending and so will the press so the final and completed Windows 10 will be showcased to the public.

The January Technology Preview of Windows 10 will also include a preview of the operating system for Windows Phones, which is Windows 10 mobile SKU. The same operating system will power Intel tablets and ARM tablets.

Microsoft later released a statement informing the public that another big event is also planned for next year. This is the Build 2015, which is Microsoft's main developer event. It will take place late April.
