It's certainly not difficult to understand why Angelina Jolie has so many adoring followers. Aside from her beauty and talent, the star radiates compassion and care - just ask her fans.

Last Thursday, a fan going by the name of Techna had a panic attack while waiting for Jolie to wrap up her appearance on "The Daily Show" in New York City.

Techna shared on social media that she had a panic attack when chaos erupted as guards added another barricade between them and the star.

"Then the guards added another baracade (sic). Chaos erupted to the point. (sic) I was getting squished to the point that I started to have a panic attack.'(sic) She saw me struggling to the point that the security pull (sic) me out and sat down (sic). Angelina didnt leave till she made sure I was ok (sic)," Techna shared.

Jolie was said to have knelt to be at an eye level with the fan, with no hesitation and no care about whether or not her attire got dirty.

Following her act of compassion toward the female fan, the 39-year old actress-director likewise jumped over a bush to meet and talk with other fans as she walked out of a good will event held at the Wallis Annenberg Hall.

Knowing that her fans were waiting patiently in the cold for her to come out of the building, the actress took time to take selfies with them and sign some autographs.

Donning an all-black ensemble, the star walked to her vehicle and waved a last goodbye to her fans after the impromptu meet-and-greet.

Jolie has recently taken on the role of director for "Unbroken", the new film based on the life of Louis Zamperini, an Olympic runner who became a prisoner of war of the Japanese imperial army during World War II. The said flick is set to open in theaters on Christmas Day.
