Google's regional director for North African and the Middle East, Mohamad Mourad, talked about the recent expansion in a blog post and boasted about Dubai being the home to the world's tallest tower, the largest mall in the whole world and even the only seven-star hotel in the world.

The world's tallest tower is the Burj Khalifa that stands 829.8 meters (2,722 ft). The largest mall that Mourad was talking about is the "Dubai Mall," which has more than 1,200 shops in it. And lastly, the only hotel with a seven-star rating is the Burj Al Arab.

He adds in his blog, "Starting today, it can add virtual visitors to that list, as Dubai becomes the first city in an Arab country to be added to Street View in Google Maps."

The city has been mapped earlier this year however they had to ensure clearer photos of the areas in order to make the project better. It also covers the latest places such as the Sheikh Zayed Road, the longest road in UAE. The Deira Spice Souke and the Dubai Creek can also be viewed using the Google Street View.
