A tabloid in Hong Kong claims that Kate Tsui has gone overboard with plastic surgery procedures and that her face has become too swollen that it was already affecting her work.

Last October, Tsui had been plagued with rumors that she had gone under the knife and had her eyes and lips altered. Despite the actress' denials and claims that she is too afraid to go through such procedures, a tabloid has published a story which claims that the actress is now suffering from adverse effects brought about by the alleged procedure she underwent.

An insider source claims that Tsui had been spending long hours in the makeup unit in order to achieve her old look again. The insider shared that the actress allegedly refused to be helped by a makeup artists and they had to spend around three hours in order to touch up for a drama.

The same source shared that there was a time when Tsui broke down while her makeup is being done. When a stylist asked after her, the actress allegedly said that her face is too bloated to apply cosmetics.

Furthermore, Tsui's TVB colleagues allegedly believe that she got plastic surgery while some were said to have commented about her face, saying she looked odd.

Tsui is said to have been very affected by the rumors and comments being thrown at her that she purportedly became more sensitive whenever people would look at her face.

The actress' alleged depressed state is also said to be affecting her work. An insider report says that the actress has been causing a lot of outtakes while filming because she can't look her co-stars straight in the eyes due to self-consciousness. In turn, Tsui is said to have isolated herself from the rest of the cast and crew.

In addition, she allegedly refused a promotional event this Christmas in order to go to Japan and rest.
