Rumors that one of EXO's Chinese members, Huang Zi Tao, more popularly known as Tao, is planning to nullify his contract with SM Entertainment along with one Korean member have been circulating online, particularly on Weibo.
Last December 9, speculations that Tao is also leaving EXO and is returning to China have gone viral on the Chinese micro blog site. Along with these claims, it is said that another unspecified Korean member will also be leaving the group.

Tao and said member are allegedly planning to file yet another case against the South Korean talent outfit in order to have their contracts nullified. These claims were said to have been posted through the Weibo verified accounts of some entertainment industry critics.
One of the critics posted that Tao is going to file a case to nullify his contract with SM Entertainment and will be returning to China just like former members Lu Han and Kris Wu have done over the last seven months.
After the message was posted, another critic also uploaded a message through Weibo, claiming that EXO is currently in a 'bottleneck' phase and that they are going through a 'regrouping issue'.
Furthermore, the same account claimed that their managing company is focusing on grooming a new group. SM Entertainment is allegedly trying to focus their efforts on another group and is not putting that much attention to the Korean-Chinese boy group.
"EXO's peak days has already passed," wrote the same user.
It is said that both of the critics who posted the messages on Weibo are being followed by hundreds of thousands on the micro blog site. Both are also said to be known among Chinese audience.
The posts that have been uploaded by the two critics purportedly got the attention of many fans and has been commented on and reblogged for more than 6,000 times, causing quite a stir among EXO-L, the band's official fan base.
In addition, the posts also mentioned that the possibility of EXO's disbandment is already underway.
Despite these claims, SM Entertainment has yet to release an official statement regarding the issue while other fans have pointed out that the posts may be another scheme to cause commotion.
