Crunchyroll  said Capcom issued an official statement saying a version of "Resident Evil Revelations 2" for the Sony PlayStation Vita is to be released in spring of 2015. The game title is currently being developed together with the Third Party Production team of SCEA.

For those who own the Sony PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Microsoft Xbox One, Xbox 360, or PC, the weekly episodic release will begin in Feb. 17, 2015. The full release will take place on March 10 in North America and March 13 in Europe.

As cited by IGN, "Resident Evil Revelations 2" depicts utter terror. The game comes with four different adventures and players can expect to be gripped by fear by the gameplay.

Claire Redfield, one of the survivors of the Raccoon City incident (Resident Evil 2), is the first character you'll get to see. In "Revelations 2," she works for Terra Save, an anti-bioterrorism group similar to the Bioterrorism Security Assessment Alliance (BSAA), the organization her brother Chris Redfield works for.

Throughout the game, Claire will be working with Moira Burton, Barry Burton's daughter, who also works for Terra Save in the hopes of making it out of the abandoned detention facility alive.

The initial official statement from the developers and publishers, however, only included the Microsoft Xbox 360, Microsoft Xbox One, Windows PC, Sony PlayStation 3 and Sony PlayStation 4.
