He was earlier forced out of a Miami nightclub after he allegedly kicked a woman named Vanessa Castano in the face. The victim has since then filed a police report, TMZ revealed.
It was eventually revealed that Bilzerian was facing charges of possessing or manufacturing illegal explosive devices, according yo another report from TMZ.
A warrant of arrest was issued by Clark County, Nevada, to Bilzerian for allegedly making bombs and for illegal possession of explosive or incendiary device.
The criminal complaint, revealed that Bilzerian had in his custody ammonium and aluminum powder, as well as ammonium nitrate mix which could be pure TNT when mixed together.
The warrant was dated November but the content was not revealed for confidential reasons. It was actually under seal, because cops might still be conducting an ongoing investigation and did not want any of their information to be divulged, which could undermine the results of the investigation.
Bilzerian is known for his interest in collecting weapons and for repeatedly telling the world that he was expelled from the Navy SEAL in 1999, two days shy from his graduation.
The millionaire bad boy could serve one to six years in prison.
Bilzerian was eventually released 1:16 p.m. Wednesday, KTLA reports, although there is no way that Los Angeles Police Department would be dropping their charges against him.
With over five million followers on Instagram, Bilzerian gained fame as the King of Instagram through a series of photos of women and indications of a lavish lifestyle on his page.
This is not the first time that the social media celebrity has been entangled in legal woes. In May, porn star Janice Griffith accused him of throwing him off the roof of a house and into a pool.
Bilzerian, however, was not punished since Hustler magazine, to which both of them where then under management stated that Bilzerian was doing his job as part of a photo shoot.
