Apple Continues to Beat Down Android

Last September, the Apple iPhone 6 and Apple iPhone 6 Plus, two of the most-awaited smartphones this year, finally hit the shelves.
With so many people wanting to get their hands on the iPhone 6, it came as little surprise the company sold millions of units in just a matter of days.

According to CNET, this sales surge increased Apple's mobile web traffic share from 60.6 % to 61.4 %, just nine weeks after both iPhone 6 models were made available to consumers. Android's share of web traffic went down to 37.5% from 38.5% in the same period.
So what does this mean?
These numbers suggest more consumers have made the shift to Apple. In addition, the stats also point towards the high possibility a significant number of people using Android devices are now using Apple phones
The Wall St. Cheat Sheet said another reason for the surge is because of the significantly bigger screen sizes of the Apple iPhone 6 and Apple iPhone 6 Plus. Since both models now sport bigger screens, they're a lot better for browsing and surfing the Web.
In a nutshell, these numbers should already be a red flag for makers of Android devices, particularly Samsung.
