Australian GTA V Gamers Want the Holy Bible Banned in Revenge

A few days ago, the popular video game "Grand Theft Auto V" was removed from the list of items carried by Target and Kmart in Australia.

According to The Washington Post, this was due to an online petition signed by tens of thousands of consumers protesting the game's misogyny and violence against women.

Basically, the anti-GTA campaign wants the game banned because the game says it's fine to kill women. The petitioners said the game promotes murder, especially of women, all for the sake of entertainment.

In addition, critics of the game also pointed out that women are depicted in Grand Theft Auto V as either prostitutes or strippers.

"We've been speaking to many customers over recent days about the game and there is a significant level of concern about the game's content," said one of the spokespersons of an Australian Target franchise.

Target said it felt "the decision to stop selling GTA V is in line with the majority view of our customers."

While it did take a long time for Target and Kmart to ban the video game title, the petitioners are relieved and exhilarated they finally did. CNET said over 50,000 persons signed the petition and this was one of the possible reasons why Target and Kmart finally banned the title.

In a response to this, the fans and followers of "Grand Theft Auto V" are pushing to have the Bible banned. That's right.

We're talking about the Holy Book here. According to GTA V fans, the Bible should also be removed from circulation and should no longer be used since it's also misogynistic and promotes violence against women.
