Hong Kong actor Francis Ng officially withdraws from the Chinese variety show 'Dad, Where Are We Going?' due to his son, Feynman's slow recovery, following an injury he has sustained last September while they were filming in New Zealand.
Last September, Ng's 5-year old son, Feynman, accidentally fell and injured an area near his left eye while they were filming the variety program. Feynman needed a few stitches for his injury and has reportedly been recovering slower than they have expected.

Ng stated that his little son has still been suffering from blurred vision back in Pctober and has even hinted on the possibility of withdrawing from the film adaptation of the show.
Last Wednesday, December 10, Ng announced that he and his son will be withdrawing from the show, citing that Feynman's health is more important at the moment. He added that he and his wife have talked about the matter and though it best if their son would not participate in the project.
He has also taken to Weibo to explain his son's condition to the public. He stated that Feynman's rate of recovery is not ideal and they have based their decision not to let him attend the production on doctor's advice and family discussions.
Ng then thanked Hunan TV, saying that the network has given him and his son a great time while shooting the program. He also expressed his well-wishes for the film, saying, "May the movie become a hit."
Many netizens expressed their disappointment towards Ng's decision to withdraw from the film, also saying that they will not be watching the film when it comes out.
Despite that, many of his fans still showed their support for his decision and also expressed their concern for Feynman, wishing him a speedy recovery. The fans have also requested Ng to upload more photos of Feynman online so they will not 'miss him that much'.
