Hong Kong actress Cecilia Cheung reportedly dismissed rumors that she has been sued for fraud and breach of contract by a company called Haisong Group after she failed to show up at an event that the company organized.
It has previously been reported that Cheung failed to show up at a reality program called 'Muse Dress' which Haisong Group has arranged. Yu Yu Xing, the actress' manager allegedly signed the contract in behalf of Cheung.

The company also allegedly claimed that they have paid the actress an amount of $2 million RMB ahead of time for her participation in said program before she suddenly decided not to attend. It was reported that Haisong Group presented proof that they have paid the actress in the form of a deposit slip.
Immediately after the rumor surfaced, Yu allegedly stated that they have addressed the issue and has also accused the company of breach of contract since they have changed the network that would be airing said program.
Yu also accused the company of being the first one to cross the line of their contract which was the reason why Cheung withdraw from the show.
Now, on a recent interview, Cheung denied the allegations being made by Haisong Group, claiming that she has never received payment from the company. Furthermore, she accused them of releasing stories that are misleading, saying that the reports have affected her personal reputation badly.
Cheung's camp also stated that they have every intention to stand their ground in the dispute. Furthermore, they have stated that they will also be taking legal action to counter the allegations being made by Haisong Group.
On the other hand, Cheung has been recently targeted by suicide rumors. Last December 7, a photo of the actress has been posted online with a false headline claiming that she has committed suicide. However, the actress' manager has also dismissed the claims, saying that they were just fabricated.
