A 13-Year Old British Girl has an IQ of 162... making her brainier than Einstein and Stephen Hawking


On June 7th 2013, the British media has reported Olivia Manning, a 13-year old girl from London, managed to get a whooping score in an IQ test of 162 - well above the 100 average.

Olivia is now one of the top one per cent of intelligent people in the United Kingdom and she has been accepted into Mensa after discovering she is brainier than both the genius German physicist Albert Einstein, who has an IQ of 160 and Professor Stephen Hawking, who has an IQ of 140.

The genius girl was originally from India, she said in an interview that the India's education system has established a solid foundation to her future study later, but she prefers the school life in the United Kingdom.

Olivia confessed to being surprised when she discovered her score, she said this was unexpected. According to the comparison between her IQ score with Albert Einstein and Stephen Hawking, making by the British media, she thought it was inappropriate, she believed Albert Einstein and Stephen Hawking both have reached a high achievement and had made contribution to the society, which means her higher IQ score doesn't mean she is better. She believed that if she doesn't study hard and doesn't make good use of her intelligence, a high IQ would be just meaningless.

As a confirmed genius, Olivia is now also getting popular at her school. She said: "A lot more people are coming up to me asking for help with their homework. I just like challenges and making my mind think ".

Mensa is the largest and highest IQ society in the world. The principal of her high school, Kay Askew said: "The success of the Mensa enrichment club shows how with the right support, students can excel and become the best in the world."
