Motorola announced the Moto G 2013 is the best-selling smartphone they've manufactured but has been replaced by the new Moto G 2014 with upgraded specifications.
The Microsoft Lumia 535, on the other hand, is called the budget handset and its impressive specs can be a threat to the Moto G 2014. Those who are choosing between the Moto G 2014 and the Lumia 535 should read the comparison below.

The Moto G 2014 is powered by Snapdragon 400 SoC with a Cortex A7 quad-core chip clocked at 1.2 GHz while the Lumia 535 only has a Snapdragon 200 processor with the same chipset and Adreno 302 graphics.
The Lumia 535 has a 5-inch screen with 540 x 960 pixels and 220 ppi while the Moto G comes with a 5.0-inch IPS LCD display with 720 x 1280 pixels and 294 ppi pixel density.
The Lumia 535 comes with 8 GB of internal storage with microSD support which can expand up to 128 GB of external storage. Meanwhile, the Moto G offers 8 GB and 16 GB storage options. It also has an external storage support of up to 32 GB.
Google Drive provides 50 GB of free cloud storage for Moto G 2014 owners.
The Lumia 535 has a 5 MP rear camera with LED flash and a 5 MP front camera. The Moto G 2014 comes with an 8 MP rear camera with LED flash and 2 MP front camera.
The Moto G 2014 runs Android 4.4.4 KitKat upgradable to Android 5.0 L when it's released in the next few weeks. The Lumia 535 comes with Windows Phone 8.1 with the newest Lumia Denim update.
The Moto G comes with a non-removable 2070 mAh battery while the Nokia Lumia 535 has a removable 1905 mAh battery.
