New Facebook Search Feature Shows Old Awkward Posts

Facebook has upgraded its search function again. The new Facebook Search now allows users to search for posts by friends or random people they follow.
The search results are more accurate because of its customized ability.
Currently, the new Facebook Search is available on the iPhone app and desktop editions. Users can see results beyond their networks by using hashtags on the Facebook search.

The new Facebook Search functions just like Google Search. For example, a user can search for a specific word and search results list down all the posts by his or her friends that contain the word.
The new Facebook Search function is exciting but can reveal an entire history, including awkward posts from the past.
The user, however, can control this with his privacy settings such as "Who can look me up as public?" and "Who can see my stuff?" Users can "Limit old posts" so they can prevent people from digging into their timeline.
Facebook said the new search feature will be available for English users first and could take about a week to implement.
Facebook users from Australia can use the feature by switching the UK English language setting to US English on the log-in page.
Facebook Search can still be improved because it only yields exact words and not related words. It also can't search through comments posted by friends.
