In a statement released Monday by Cosby spokesman David Brokaw, Camille sacked the allegations claimed by 15 women that her husband drugged and raped them in the late 1960s, TMZ reports.

She defended her husband saying Cosby has always been the man that his fans fell in love with.

She also criticized the media for quickly passing judgment on Cosby and not properly and thoroughly vetting the accusers before publishing or airing their stories.

She maintained that the Cosby they are accusing is "a man I do not know," claiming that it's actually her husband, not these women, who is the real victim of malignment by the media.

"He is a kind man, a generous man, a funny man, and a wonderful husband, father and friend. He is the man you thought you knew," Camille described Cosby.

She then set an example about how the people following the rape allegations at the University of Virginia, which was picked up by Rolling Stone, but was later proven untrue.

"The story was heart-breaking but ultimately appears to be proved to be untrue," she said.

"Many in the media were quick to link that story to stories about my husband," she continued.

"None of us will ever want to be in the position of attacking the victim. But the question should be asked -- who is the victim?" she ended her statement with that hanging question.
