Chris Hemsworth Has "No Empathy" For Liam's Bad Relationships

The Thor star Chris Hemsworth slammed his young bro's ex Miley Cyrus in an interview with GQ magazine.

It was apparent that Hemsworth wasn't really in favor of his brother's relationship with the troubled pop singer.

The magazine asked the hunky actor if he still protects his little brother, prompting the actor to shift the focus toward Cyrus'.

"I've watched Liam do things I did at his age, like being in relationships he shouldn't be in, or being reckless just to prove a point. And I had no empathy. My mom had to remind me I was the same way," he said.

In short, he just doesn't like the singer and their now-dead relationship. But we think Cyrus doesn't give a damn of what he has to say now that she's very happy in her relationship with 21-year-old Patrick Schwarzenegger.

And with being reckless Us Weekly notes how the Hunger Games actor quickly moved on after calling off the engagement with Cyrus. He was then seen having a good time with Mexican star Eiza Gonzalez in L.A.

Chris also revealed his lack of empathy to Liam's problems is also reflected at how his older brother Luke, now 34, treated him.

"Back when I was still on the soap [Australian series Home and Away], I became incredibly insecure and full of anxiety because I didn't know if I was any good," Chris recalled when he was just starting his acting career.

"Yet I wanted it so bad. I spent years being angsty, constantly telling people I wasn't just part of a soap opera, that I was a real artist. And I remember Luke sort of snapping, telling me to shut up, that he was sick of hearing it."

Chris credited Luke for that wake up call for making him the well-rounded and less self-absorbed actor that he has eventually become.
