Eddie Redmayne has a reason to call 2014 a year to be very thankful for!

Aside from the success of his film, The Theory of Everything, Redmayne is also ecstatic after he tied the knot with girlfriend Hannah Bagshaw.

The 32-year-old actor, who just snagged nominations at the Golden Globe and Screen Actors Guild Award for portraying physicist Stephen Hawking in the biopic The Theory of Everything, married her non-showbiz honey dovey at Babington House in Somerset, England

"They celebrated with a small number of close family and friends," a statement of Redmayne's reps revealed.

Two months after the couple got engaged last Memorial Weekend, Redmayne shared with E! News about the wedding plan.

"It's going good!" the British actor shared.

 Asked about his involvement in the wedding plan, Redmayne said that he leaves "most of it up to my fiancée, but we're getting there!"

Asked if he ever got cold feet about the wedding, he said actually felt really excited for the coming of their big day.

"I'm desperate. I'm chomping at the bit," the actor shared. In short, he just can't wait to be married!

Redmayne's schedule is fully packed until the end of the year, as most of his time is slated for promoting The Theory of Everything.

The actor really feels the pressure with this film.

"I'm not gonna lie, the pressure felt pretty intense," Redmayne confessed.

Hawking and Wilde have already thrown their support to the film.

Redmayne was really thankful for the support that the film got, especially from Hawking.

"The fact that they enjoyed the film was a great award," he said.

"I think their story is a wonderful story," he added, inviting audience to watch the movie.

And there's more in store for the actor.

His film, Jupiter Ascending, where he co-stars with Mila Kunis and Channing Tatum is slated to hit cinema in February 2015. Then, he would star as the first woman to undergo sexual change in The Danish Girl.

So, despite his full sched, Redmayne still hopes to enjoy his honeymoon with his wife.
