Roger Kwok and Charmaine Sheh bagged the top honors at the 48th TVB Anniversary Awards December 15 after they were crowned TV King and TV Queen, respectively.

Meanwhile, crime drama-thriller Line Walker won the best drama trophy, thanks to its suspenseful plot. Other than being a critically-acclaimed show, the series is also a huge hit in Mainland China, thanks to the 1.4 billion viewers who stay tuned to the show.

This is the third time that Kwok was crowned TV king, but he was noticeably nervous while accepting the award. The actor credits his success to his wife Cindy Au and children, who were also his inspiration.

Charmaine Sheh, meanwhile, who made a triumphant TV come back on Line Walker, was unstoppable as the TV Queen. She also bagged the Favorite Female Character award.

"Thanks to TVB for making my life more interesting. It's not easy to win an award. It requires many sacrifices and much luck. I'm very lucky to have landed this role and come across a good producer in Jazz Man," a teary eyed She sais.

Other than restoring Sheh's popularity, Line Walker also helped Benz Hui shoot to stardom, thus, winning him the Favorite Male Character award.

Ram Chiang, meanwhile, grabbed the Best Supporting Actor award for his strong performance in Come On, Cousin .

Ram dedicated his award to Cho Lam, who was the creative talent behnd Ram's breakout role in Come On, Cousin.

Meanwhile, Dark horse nominee Josie  surprised everyone when she beat Sharon Chan, to win the Best Supporting Actress honors. While Josie is not a TVB talent, her stirring performance as the prison inmate in Tomorrow is Another Day was strong enough to make her win the award.
