Honor 6 Plus was launched during Huawei's big event in Beijing, China. This wasn't a big surprise for tech buffs as there were many leaks about the smartphone before the official launch date. Some looked at it as a straight iPhone 6 Plus clone.

According to Android Authority, Honor 6 Plus is packed with a snappy Octa-core Kirin 925 Soc, 3 GB RAM and Mali T628 MP4 GPU. Huawei's own Kirin 925 chipset supports 4G LTE Cat.6 connectivity able to download at 300 Mbps.

Engadget said the smartphone is interesting enough as it boasts two 8 megapixel rear sensors and an 8 megapixel front camera. The tech-giant's new smartphone also offers storage variation of 16 GB and 32GB. Both support an 128 GB MicroSD card for additional storage.

This smartphone is equipped with a Li-Po 3,600mAh battery that runs on Android 4.4.4 KitKat. This high-end smartphone is priced at US$320 with an option for a 4G Edition at US$400.
