Beleaguered former child star Amanda Bynes has made a Twitter comeback with a post that compared herself to pop princess Britney Spears.
The 28-year-old star has already earned the reputation of a rather random tweeter.
"I'm Britney Spears," she posted.
Fans and Hollywood insiders have been wondering what she meant with the rather cryptic post.

Is she posting just to show her support to the superstar? Or is she posting a teaser about making an stunning comeback in the pop scene?
We can only know.
But there's actually the pattern. It's obvious that the two have their similarities.
Take note that Spears and Bynes both enjoyed success at a young age then went on to suffer serious public breakdowns. The only difference is that Spears have already succeeded over her demons.
Another similarity is the involvement of Sam Lufti in the respective lives of both stars.
Sam came into Britney's life in 2007, when he worked as his manager at the height of her mental break down and career ebb. Spears' parents labeled him as a Svengali, who believed that the other had ulterior motives other than helping her move on.
Last October, it was found that Sam tried to convince Amanda to see a lawyer for a lawsuit against her parents. It was later revealed that the talent manager was actually cooperating with Bynes' concerned parents so she could get the help she needs after displaying erratic behavior.
Amanda's Twitter come back came after 26 days inactivity.
She made a bang after uploading a selfie while fitting clothes, showcasing her toned tummy, which looks likes Britney Spears' picture in the cover of Women's Health.
