A court from the European Union (EU) has ruled on Wednesday that the militant group known as Hamas from Palestine should be removed from the list of designated terror groups in EU.
The General Court of the EU announced that they have "improperly included" the militant group on the list as they have based their information from reports of various media and from the internet.

The list from the EU was said to be formed back in 2001 and it also included twelve more groups and 29 individuals. EU pointed out that the groups and individuals on the list could only be called terrorist basing it on their actions that have been examined by them and has been confirmed by competent authorities not further elaborating who are on the list and who approves them.
The recent ruling has already been approved but it is open for appeal and this can only be made if it is based on points of law and the process will last for a year and a half or more.
The Hamas were more than happy to have been removed from the list and in a statement issued by Deputy Hamas chief Moussa Abu Marzouk, the decision of the EU to remove them is a correction of a historical mistake that the body has made.
Abu Marzouk adds, "Hamas is a resistance movement and it has a natural right according to all international laws and standards to resist the occupation."
However, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has released a statement saying that he is dismayed and that they expect the EU court to immediately put Hamas back on the terror list.
The EU court then issued a statement saying that the current ruling will remain in place for three months until the appeals will be processed. Also, the asset freezes over Hamas will still be in effect so as to ensure that the assets remain untouchable by the group in case they will be back in the list.
