United States President Barack Obama has recently lifted the bans over Cuba and has restored its ties with the country resulting to disagreements between elected officials such as Republican Florida Senator Marco Rubio and fellow Republican Senator Rand Paul.
Rubio has pointed out that the Paul is the number one cheerleader of Obama over the foreign policy change as he continues to criticize the recent move of the president. Rubio is said to be running for the presidential elections this 2016.

Rubio, of Cuban descent, said that the regime of Cuban President Raul Castro will only be reaping the economic benefits from the sanctions lifted but it will not improve the state of human rights and democracy of the country and its people. Rubio adds, "It will grow [Cuba's] economy, but it won't grow political freedom."
Both Rubio and Paul have been in a series of Twitter exchanges after Obama has announced the new foreign policy regarding Cuba last Wednesday. Paul has called Rubio an "isolationist" when he openly opposed the plan of Obama over Cuba.
As for Rubio, he pointed out that Paul supporting the Cuba plan of Obama has made him the chief cheerleader for Obama's foreign policy shift. He added that he will be continuing to oppose the Obama-Paul tandem over the foreign policy as he was interviewed during ABC's "This Week".
In response to Rubio's claims over Paul being the cheerleader for the Cuba Plan, the adviser of Paul identified as Doug Stafford said that Rubio was actually the captain of the Republican cheerleading team who supported Obama in arming the Syrian rebels and bombing Libya. Stafford added that Rubio also supported giving foreign aid to the military government of Egypt illegally.
The Presidential Elections on 2016 is slowly becoming a blur as the possible contenders are already starting to talk ill against each other. However, Rubio also announced recently that he will support former Florida governor Jeb Bush if he decided to run for the said post.
Rubio also reiterated that he might run for the position but it will not depend on who the contenders are but if he thinks it is the right time for him.
