Rockstar Games has updated PC gamers avidly waiting for Grand Theft Auto 5, a year after the original release on Xbox 360 and PS3.
In a Q&A on Rockstar Newswire, Rockstar said "We're presently in the final stages of development on the PC version of Grand Theft Auto V and hope to have confirmed official system requirements to share soon here at the Newswire, please stay tuned for that to be announced in the coming week."

There seems to be no delays to the PC version, still set for Jan. 27 release. It will only be available for Microsoft Windows, and it appears unlikely Mac OS X or Linux will receive compatible versions of GTA 5.
When Rockstar Games first announced PS4, Xbox One and PC launch, most gamers thought it would come at the same time for all three platforms. Turns out PS4 and Xbox One got a few months head start.
The PC version will come with additional features, including increased pedestrians, cars, 4K resolution, a larger variety of wildlife and extra settings for PC customization.
Rockstar does not have the best reputation on PC, due to several bad ports of popular titles like L.A. Noire, Grand Theft Auto 4 and Bully. Thankfully, the studio working on the Grand Theft Auto 5 port also worked on the Max Payne 3 PC port.
Grand Theft Auto 5 has been one of Rockstar's best sellers already, and it continues to sell millions of units per month on all four consoles. The PC version may not bring the best sales, but it sure to be an exciting ride, with all of the mods and customizations.
