French Villa Given As Bribe To Disgraced Chinese Senior Official For Sale

The disgraced Chinese senior official identified as Bo Xilai was given a French Villa as a bribe is now being advertised to be sold at 6.95 million Euros or US$8.52 million.
The 65-year-old ex-Party chief of Chongqing City in Southwest China and the former member of the Communist Party Politburo, as already been sentenced to spend his remaining years of living behind bars last September 2013. He has been charged of abuse of power, bribery and embezzlement.

According to reports, Bo was found guilty of stealing around 5 million yuan or US$803, 450 of the funds from state and also covered the murder of a British citizen named Neil Heywood by his own wife identified as Bogu Kailai.
According to the officials, Bo's wife and his son Bo Guagua had disputes with Heywood regarding economic matters and that the British citizen has threatened Bo's son in an e-mail. Bogu then feared for her son's safety resulting to poisoning Heywood with cyanide.
From 1999 to 2012, records also showed that Bo took bribes that amounted to 20.44 million yuan. One of the bribes was the French villa bought by Xu Ming, the Chairman of Dalian Shide Group Co Ltd. The villa was said to be for Bo's wife that shelled companies co-managed by Heywood.
The villa was located on Boulevard des Pins in the well-known La California district in Cannes and the average price of the house in the area was at 6,000 euros per square meter. In the ad, it says that the villa is seated at a 4,000 square meter with beautiful Mediterranean gardens and great sea views.
The villa includes three floors, five bedrooms, and a studio apartment. It also has a pool house and a swimming pool.
According to reports, the villa is being managed by a French-registered company identified as Residences Fontaine Saint Georges and it is legally represented by Jiang Feng-Dolby, a friend of Xu, and the predecessors were Heywood and a French architect named Patrick Devillers.
