Wu Yi Fan and Jessica Jung, currently two of the most controversial K-Pop Idols in South Korea, were spotted at the Sohu Fashion Awards held in China, where two artists were awarded Asian Fashion Icon awards on December 23, 2014.
Wu Yi Fan, more popularly known as "Kris", used to be a member of South Korean-Chinese boy group EXO and the leader of its sub-unit EXO-M. Jessica was a former member of girl group Girls' Generation. The two artists from SM Entertainment were sitting next to each other during the event.

Kris and Jessica walked the red carpet separately and didn't share much interaction. Still, the public couldn't help but compare the two artists who faced issues against their agency.
Jessica is still under SM Entertainment but claimed that she was 'forced out' of Girls' Generation. SM only stated that she had chosen to focus on her fashion business instead of group activities. Jessica recently attended a fan signing event and promoted her new fashion line, BLANC & ECLARE.
Unlike Jessica, Kris had left SM Entertainment completely after filing a lawsuit against the agency in April. Another EXO-M member, Luhan also followed his footsteps in October. The two Chinese members from SM are establishing solo acting careers in China.
While promoting his movie "Somewhere Only We Know", Kris is preparing for another film called "Fading Wave". Also, he will soon have a wax figure displayed at the Shanghai branch of Madame Tussauds Wax Museum.
Japanese Kiko Mizuhara also attended the event. Kiko was rumored to be the girlfriend of Korean band Big Bang's G-Dragon. She and Jessica were spotted laughing together during a conversation.
