Hsu has also confirmed the issue, saying that she and Huang have already decided to put the past behind them. She said, "What happened between us was ages ago."
The singer-actress has also stated that she and Huang would tend to exchange greetings whenever they would run into each other. Furthermore, she has shared that she has recently had a discussion with her former flame about her upcoming album, adding that the actor even praised her for singing talent.
"I haven't released an album is so long and I was naturally happy to have someone praise me," says Hsu, who praised Huang in return for the recent success of the Golden Horse Awards which he hosted this year with S.H.E.'s Ella Chen.
In the past, it has been rumored that Hsu and Huang broke up due to the latter's involvement with Taiwanese Mando-pop singer Bowie Tsang. It has also been reported that the singer-actress and actor had been hostile towards each other following their breakup.
Furthermore, rumor has it that back in 2006, when Hsu and Huang were assigned to host the red carpet event of the Golden Bell Awards, the two were said to have been carefully set apart by Xu Ya Jun, who was also hosting the event with them.
Another incident wherein the former couple were said to have avoided each other at a French restaurant sparked rumors that they still had unresolved issues.
