Former Nickelodeon star Amanda Bynes has dyed her hair brown just in time for the holidays. The 28 year old actress posted a picture of her newly dyed hair in her Twitter account with a matching caption which said, "Merry Christmas!" Less than two months ago, the actress sported a drastic purple hair color after successfully petitioning for her release from an involuntary stay in psychiatric facility.

Bynes was a mainstay in the teen oriented Nickolodeon show named, "All That." She had her own segment called, "Dear Ashley" which was about a kid who would read out letters seeking advice. The main point of the segment was where Byne's character would throw a tantrum after answering the letter. That role helped her become a mainstay in the show, which also launched Kenan Thompson and Nick Cannon's career as well.
Her career blossomed and she was given her own spinoff, "The Amanda Show." As her career progressed, she starred in several movies such as, "What A Girl Wants," She's The Man," Hairspray and Easy A." By late 2012, she had announced her retirement from acting to focus on fashion design. She went to Irvine Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising, in which she was eventually expelled this year.
A few months ago, Bynes was under medication because of her bizarre behavior. She began tweeting inappropriately, bashing other fellow celebrities such as Sinead O Connor and Demi Lovato by impulse and even slept at a local mall. Sources have said that she has shown a lot of improvement.
