Miley Cyrus has once again caught netizens' attention as she posted a nude photo of herself on Instagram in a bid to "free the nipple" that comes along a series of topless-themed images.

The pop singer Instagrammed black-and-white topless pics of herself as she lay down while covering her chest with her hand but bearing her nipples late Saturday night.

The photo, however, was eventually removed from the social networking site.

The singer's previous scene-stealing Instagram antic was when she posted a photo of her opened wrist.

The pop singer then went on a hand surgery to remove the cyst found inside her wrist.

Miley called it "sooooo hipster."

The former child star posted graphic photos of the surgical procedure and the edited versions of her cut wrist showing raw flesh as surgical instruments kept it opened.

"I have pizza in my veins," she captioned on one of the edited pics, where an image of a pizza slice inside the wound was placed.

Cyrus has always been posting eyebrow-raising images on her Instagram. She even posted pictures of her bleeding, as well as naked or racy shots of herself.

The controversial star is now in a relationship with Patrick Schwarzenegger, son of actor and former California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger and her ex-wife, Maria Schriver.

They were recently seen together while having a post-Thanksgiving weekend PDA in Malibu, Calif. The two were photographed strolling on the Malibu Pier before dining at the Nobu restaurant, while holding hands together.
