Pop superstar Ariana Grande reveals that she is "repulsed" by Santa Claus-ironic given how one of her more recent hits centers on ol' St. Nick.
The "Santa Tell Me" songstress shares, that while her hit holiday song is meant to be a cheerful holiday tune, the song is about her asking Santa for help with her love life; which essentially makes the song "depressing."

She goes on to share that her lack of affection for the jolly holiday gift giver is because of all the heartbreak and relationship angst that she typically associates with the holidays.
"I'm repulsed by Santa," she reveals in an interview with Daily Star. "My song may sound cheerful but its really quite sardonic and depressing. I'm like saying, 'Santa what is your deal bro?'"
"I've had my heart broken multiple times around this time of year. I feel although it's one of the most cheerful times of the year, I see tons of heartbreak and they make movies about it. It's like a (Wham!) Last Christmas vibe," she explains candidly.
Fortunately, Grande won't be a complete Scrooge this year. The singer is currently dating hip hop artist Big Sean. Grande officially confirmed their relationship in October this year and has been quoted saying that he [Big Sean] "is one of the most amazing men in the world."
For Christmas, Grande also performed her hit song "Santa Tell Me" during Disney's big Christmas Day Parade. She continued to celebrate the holiday by posting a photo on her Instagram account of her Christmas tree and wished her fans a happy holiday.
"Love to you & your family," she captioned.
