Microsoft Windows 8 was so bad it was almost a lemon. While Windows 8.1 that rolled out soon after did fix some of the original version's bugs, it didn't erase the bad memories users had from using Windows 8.
Now that Windows 10 is in the works, it seems some Microsoft users remain wary of the new toy. Some hope Windows 10 will be a huge leap forward and away from the failed Windows 8. But MS products don't have an encouraging history of successful launches.

Extreme Tech said Microsoft is expected to announce the coming of Windows 10 on January 21, 2015. There are rumors, however, that more than just a simple unveiling will take place.
It's believed Microsoft will showcase what many refer to as the "Windows 10 consumer experience," whatever that means.
PC Advisor UK said UK consumers will have to wait a little longer than their U.S. peers since Windows 10 will be made available at a later date.
So, for Brits who were expecting an April access to the OS, it seems you would need to be a little more patient.
