(Photo : Baidu.com) “Transformers: Age of Extinction” Led the $4.7 billion Chinese box office in 2014.
As of December 26, China's accumulative box office has taken in more than 29 billion yuan for the year. There were 65 100 million-yuan box office movies, creating a new record.
After the recent movies "Meet Miss Anxiety," "Gone with the Bullets," and "The Taking of Tiger Mountain 3D" reached a hundred million yuan box office, there are 65 one-hundred-million-yuan box office movies, breaking the record of last year's 59 movies.

Among the 65 movies, there are 35 Chinese domestic movies and 30 imported ones. Chinese movie "Breakup Buddies" directed by Ning Hao leads the domestic box office with 1.17 billion yuan.
Imported film "Transformers: Age of Extinction" is on the top with 1.98 billion yuan box offices. To be expected, "Love on the Cloud" directed by Gu Chang Wei must break the box office of a hundred million yuan, so ultimately there will be 66 one-hundred-million-yuan box office movies of this year in China.
As of December 26, China's domestic box office is about 15.5 billion yuan, covering 53.5% of the total box office; imported movies' box office is about 135 billion yuan, covering 46.5% of the total box office.
Because there will be no new imported movies released in the following days, the expected China's domestic box office will cover about 55% of the total market, which will be the highest rate of recent years.
Recently, including Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, the single day box office never broke 2 billion yuan, so the total box office is expected to be around 29.5 billion yuan because it is very hard to obtain 1 billion yuan box office before New Year.
