As if 20 years of marriage isn't worth it, Chris Rock and his wife Malaak Compton-Rock are calling it quits.
A statement from Compton-Rock's camp revealed that "Chris and I have decided to go our separate ways."

Malaak Compton-Rock is the founder of the nonprofit organization styleWorks.
Malaak went on to saying that she was very "fortunate enough to lead a life of service by working with those most vulnerable," thus, making her realize the many blessings she had in life, "even when faced with difficulties, she continued.
Malaak admitted that what she's going through now is "a significant change," but she maintained that her "children remain at the center of my life and their well-being is my top priority."
For her children's sake, Malaak asked that her request for privacy be respected.
Meanwhile, Chris Rock's lawyer, Robert S. Cohen, confirmed that the couple has separated.
"Chris Rock has filed for divorce from his wife, Malaak," the statement from Cohen said.
"This is a personal matter and Chris requests privacy as he and Malaak work through this process and focus on their family."
The couple married in 1996 and raised two daughters, 12-year-old Lola Simone and 10-year-old Zahra Savannah. They live in Alpine, New Jersey.
In 2010, the couple denied the allegations that Rock had a child out of wedlock.
In 2013, rumors started to circulate that the couple's marriage was crumbling, although they were quick to deny the allegations.
In 2007, Rock spoke about the blessings of having a partner and staying in a marriage.
"The best part is just having a partner," he said.
"There is no real worst part. I'm not going to say there's a worst part. I mean, I'm a comedian - comedians like to work alone. So maybe I'm not the ideal guy to be married to, in that sense."
Rock also credits his family as his inspiration.
"In my normal life, I'm just with my kids most of the time," he told in an interview with People in December.
