Netflix seems to have become a major part of the lives of users in countries where it's available, particularly the United States.

But there's one thing that keeps bothering many Netflix users - they can't view anything if they're not connected to the Internet.

And, to make matters even worse for viewers, Cliff Edwards, Netflix's Director of Corporate Communications, said offline viewing will never happen.

Edwards claims the reason why Netflix isn't going to change this is because it will only provide a "short-term fix for a bigger problem." The problem that he's referring to in this statement is the overall quality of access to Wi-Fi.

Tech news network The Verge said Netflix considers offline content playback and viewing as something that will only provide a short-term resolution to fix a problem that many consider annoying - inconvenience.

Netflix's view is possibly also based on the fact that since Internet connections and services continuously being improved, Netflix users will no longer have to be bothered with Wi-Fi connections and can just simply connect to the network and enjoy whatever it is Netflix has to offer.

For Netflix users out there who are still hoping to access their content offline, you probably should stop doing so as Netflix is probably never going to enable this feature.
