Louis Koo Tops the List for the Highest earning Hong Kong Stars of 2014

Actor Louis Koo has been named as the highest earning actor in Hong Kong for the year 2014 bagging a total of $300 million HKD.
Hong Kong media reports say that after filming a total of 14 movies and making guest appearances, Koo has topped the chart of the highest earning Hong Kong stars this year. The 'Don't Go Breaking My Heart' actor is said to have taken home an estimated amount of $300 million HKD or $38.6 million USD.

Aside from starring in the film 'Don't Go Breaking My Heart', which was released last month, 'Aberdeen' an 'Overheard', other movies where Koo has been featured such as 'Triumph in the Skies' and 'Twelve Golden Ducks' are yet to be released..
Other than his appearances in movies where he played major roles, the 44-year old actor has reportedly filmed a total of 10 commercials for notable brands which include Toyota, Pepsi and Mannings. In addition, he has also made several appearances in privately and publicly held events.
On the other hand, coming in at second is international star Chow Yun Fat, who is said to have earned a total of $170 million HKD for his films 'The Monkey King' and 'From Vegas to Macau'. He has also earned money from the upcoming sequel of 'From Vegas to Macau'. Furthermore, he has also closed a deal to endorse for the luxury brand Hugo Boss earlier this year along with other endorsement deals.
Hong Kong personality Nicholas Tse has also made it to the top three, earning $150 HKD this year. The rather controversial actor, who made quite a buzz when he reunited with former flame Faye Wong, has taken his 2014 income from the film 'From Vegas to Macau' and the romance flick 'But Always'. He has also secured 14 endorsement deals.
As for the highest earning female star in Hong Kong, Kelly Chen was named as the list topper, earning $83 million HKD while Joey Yeung secured the second place with $80 million HKD.
