Rock alleged that his wife has tried to limit his visitation after they decided to call it quits.
The Grown Ups star filed for divorce to end his 18-year marriage with Malaak Compton-Rock, two days ahead of Christmas, although it was only on Sunday that the split became public after the comedian's lawyer, Robert S. Cohen, confirmed the reports.
Now, things seem to get nastier as Rock is fighting for his rights on their children, Lola, 12, and Zahra, 10.
TMZ divulged that court documents show Rock alleged that Malaak was not giving him regular access of here two girls, thus, hastening the petition for joint custody.
As early as November, the couple were already on the talks about the division of their property. The couple's prenuptial agreement, signed before their married in November 1996, had already expired.
Rock further notes on the petition that Malaak can " work and contribute to her own support," which makes it apparent that the actor might ask the court to reduce spousal support payments.
The couple married in 1996 and raised their two daughters at their home in Alpine, New Jersey.
In 2010, the couple jointly shrugged the rumors that Rock had fathered a child out of wedlock.
By 2013, it was alleged that the couple were undergoing material problems, although they immediately hushed any rumors.
