Celebrity Chef Giada de Laurentiis To Divorce Husband Designer Todd Thompson

Celebrity chef Giada De Laurentiis took to Facebook the news that she and her husband designer Todd Thompson have already parted ways 11 years after they got married. Divorce is definitely coming up next!

In her Facebook page, De Laurentiis detailed that she and Thompson have amicably separated since July.
"After an amicable separation since July, Todd and I have decided to end our marriage," the post goes.
De Laurentiis, whose grandfather was the acclaimed Italian producer Dino de Laurentiis, detailed that the separation was not an easy one, although the ex-couple could only hope for the better.
"Although our decision to separate comes with a great deal of sadness, our focus on the future and overwhelming desire for our family's happiness has given us the strength to move forward on separate, yet always connected path," the statement continues.
De Laurentiis and Thompson's marriage was blessed by a daughter, six-year-old Jade, "and a lifetime of great memories that we both treasure more than anything," she said.
De Laurentiis is grateful to her family and friends for their "support in this time of change."
The 44-year-old celebrity chef, who hailed from Italian, is the host of Food Network's Giada at Home and a contributor and gues co-host on NBC's Today. She also runs her own catering firm, GDL Foods. De Laurentiis has won the Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lifestyle Host, was inducted to the Culinary Hall of Fame in 2012.
Thompson, meanwhile, is a fashion designer.
The couple tied the knot in 2003.
