Taylor Swift is one of the hardest working pop superstars in this generation. At 25 years old, she has accomplished a lot of things that not a lot of artists have done in such a young age.
But aside from the music awards and the album sales, the Blank Space singer made the highest spot of the Dosomething.org's Celebs Gone Good list. The list is about celebrities who have used their influences to support charities.

The organization who wants to "make the world suck less" by supporting a number of projects for social change, recently reported that Swift made a donation to New York City public schools. Her philanthropic works and straightforward belief in feminism causes are reasons why she made the list.
According to the New York Daily News, the pop superstar who recently released an album called 1989, will have all proceeds from her song Welcome To New York be given to the public school system. She stated this during her guesting on The View. The said track went to number 1 on iTunes.
Us Weekly said that it is not the first time that Swift made the Celeb Gone Good list; in fact, this is her 3rd straight year on the top spot. Other celebrities who made the top 5 list are Emma Watson, Beyonce, Laverne Cox and Miley Cyrus.
The singer's donation to New York Public Schools is just among the many charitable efforts that she has contributed throughout her career and being a high profile celebrity in the music industry.
Swift has been supporting Feeding America, Habitat for Humanity, UNICEF and other organizations. She was also generous enough to give US$100,000 to the American Red Cross to reach out to the victims of the 2008 flood that happened in Iowa.
