Guns N' Roses guitarist Slash is divorcing his wife Perla Ferrar Hudson, TMZ reports.

49-year-old Slash and 39-year-old Hudson have been married for 13 years.

Marital strife was actually nothing new to the couple's marriage.

Born Saul Hudson, Slash cited irreconcilable differences as ground for divorce.

The guitarist is asking the court for joint custody of their two sons, London, 12, and Cash, 10.

In the court documents accessed by TMZ, the musician also claimed that they have been separated since June 15.

The couple's marriage could have actually been ended in 2010, had their divorce case proceeded. They, however, patched things up and renewed their marital vows the following year.

Things, however, did not turn out well and the Guns N' Roses star eventually separated from Ferrar, who flew to Hawaii with their sons Sunday.

Sources for TMZ revealed that Perla left an ultimatum upon leaving, telling her estranged husband that he better rights his wrongs by new year or it's definitely bye-bye time.

The red-haired hot momma has recently been dropping hints on her Instagram that her marriage wasn't actually getting any better, as she posted quotes and messages about "being alone" and "taking time" for herself. It was also noticeable that Slash wasn't in the holidays pics that she posted.

"Why would I want to be alone with my thoughts? Have you heard some of the s**t that comes out of my mouth? I'm f***ing nuts!!' alongside a caption saying, 'self professed... #iwarnedyou" one of her posts read.

Days before, though, she'd posted their family picture, where everyone was all-smiles.

"Another late post of my beautiful family. Happy holidays everyone!" captioned in the Instagram post.

Ferrar, it seems, was even looking forward for her divorce, placing the hashtag "newyearnewlife" and "surprise" on every post she recently made.
