Singer and rapper Nicki Minaj has recently spoken boldly about her abortion in an interview with Rolling Stone saying she thought she was going to die.
Minaj was a teenager that time when she found out about it and she knew she wasn't ready to have a child. It was the hardest that she had gone through she said that it still haunts her up to this day. She was dating her first boyfriend, who was an older man living in Queens, New York while she was studying in Manhattan's LaGuardia High School.

She stood firm on her decision to abort the baby she was carrying that time, saying it'd be contradictory if she said she wasn't pro-choice. She wasn't ready and she didn't have anything to offer a child.
Her single All Things Go from her latest album The Pinkprint, was in reference to her could've been 16-year-old child with boyfriend Aaron any minute now.
She also mentioned the subject of abortion while she was still starting in her career, as she released the song Autobiography. She didn't expect anyone would hear it that time, but in the 3rd verse of the track, she hinted the listeners on how she was not prepared to have a child and even asked for her unborn child's remission.
The verse says,
"Please, baby, forgive me, mommy was young.
Mommy was too busy, trying' to have fun.
Now I don't pat myself on the back, for sending you back.
'Cause God knows, I was better than that...
Listened to people who told me I wasn't ready for you
But how the f*** would they know what I was ready to do?"
