Sony Pictures Hackers Set Sights On News Organization

Hacking group Guardians of Peace have reportedly set sights on news organisations, following the Sony Pictures attack.
The hacking group responsible for the Sony Pictures attack is turning its sights on a news organization, according to an FBI bulletin.
The bulletin was posted on Dec. 24, claiming Guardians of Peace (#GOP) are now threatening an undisclosed news media organization. The FBI claims the threats could spread to other news organizations in the near future.

First reported by The Intercept, the FBI refers USPER1 as Sony and USPER2 as the news organisation, but does not disclose which news organisation is under threat.
The #GOP claimed the investigation done by the FBI and USPER2 was sub-par, taunting the two organizations for lack of competence.
State-sponsored attackers regularly attack enemy media sources once outed, as the Syrian Electronic Army has shown in force. This does add to the argument that North Korea might be behind the attack, although there is no reason to add more fuel to the fire at this point.
The new suspect in the Sony Pictures case appears to be a disgruntled employee, with connections to the disbanded group LulzSec. The FBI held a three hour briefing to go over the potential of North Korea being innocent, but denied any other evidence in a press statement.
#GOP has been quiet over Christmas, but it looks like the hacking group is confident enough to taunt the FBI and news organisations in private. The group has hold of 100TB of information from the Sony Pictures' system, and may leak more in the future.
Several security experts have claimed there is no connection between the Sony Pictures attack and North Korea, especially considering the deep amount of information the attacker had before even launching the attack on Sony employees.
This knowledge, according to security group Norse, could only have been found by an ex-employee. The FBI does not see this as credible evidence, but has not disclosed its own evidence linking North Korea to the attack.
