Microsoft has developed a new version of Kinect, a motion sensing device specifically made for Xbox 360, Xbox One and Windows PC.
The company also said the original version of Kinect will soon be discontinued to make way for the newer version, Arcade Sushi reports.
Kinect's newer version will sport new and upgraded features such as a better sensor, full 1080p HD video, an expanded field of view, greater depth fidelity, enhanced body tracking and new active infrared capabilities.

Kinect 2.0 will be priced at US$199.99 and is available at Microsoft store. If you want to use your Xbox One Kinect on a Windows PC, you have to shell out an additional $50 for an adapter
Though there is no specific date when Microsoft will "diskinect" the original version, the company's decided to sell those remaining in stock.
Microsoft first introduced Kinect for Xbox in 2010 and for Windows PCs in 2012. News Everyday said the original version is considered the company's breakthrough success as it opened its technology to various industries such as education, retail, healthcare and manufacturing.
Kinect 2.0 and its software developers kit (SDK 2.0) was officially introduced by Microsoft in October 2014. The SDK received positive feedback from developer's forums and communities.
