(Photo : Reuters) Amid three years of sales decrease, Taiwan-based tech-company HTC is determined to bounce back this year as it prepares for the upcoming launch of its first smartwatch alongside its rumored high-end handset, One M9.
The HTC One (M9) will reportedly hit the market in the opening months of 2015, earlier than the previous March 2014 launch of the HTC One (M8).
Reports from Taiwan claim HTC is already working on production for the smartphone, set to be HTC's flagship for the best part of 2015.
Codenamed HTC Hima, the smartphone will reportedly sport the same aluminium design, but a new concept image shows an all-glass front, with dual front-facing speakers.

Internally, the HTC One (M9) should feature a 5.2-inch QHD (2560 x 1440) display, Snapdragon 810 processor, 3GB of RAM, 13MP front facing camera, 20.7MP rear camera and 2840mAh battery.
This is a specs sheet worth taking a second glance at, because for the first time HTC is going all out on the high-end, alongside having design to match Apple and Motorola.
HTC needs some success, offering all of the best in one package seems like the smartest way to get Android fans interested, but in the ever changing world of specs, it might be hard to keep that interest for long.
It is not the only device HTC is preparing to launch in 2015, according to CEO Peter Chou, the Taiwanese manufacturer will launch a smartwatch and should have another tablet next year.
The growth of Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi might be a hindrance in South-East Asia, one of HTC's largest markets, meaning we may see a few more mid-range devices released by HTC in 2015.
