After the controversy that actress Sheren Tang has pointed out for TVB's work ethics, she took a break from work to treat her mood disorder. Despite recovery, the actress has relapsed into depression after breaking up with her younger boyfriend.
The 48 year old actress was seen with thinning hair and has gained 30 pounds as a result of the rough breakup. She was seen shopping and the receding hairline was very prominent as she took off her cap.

Tang has been having a hard time coping with the breakup. She was also seen at a bookstore, browsing for self help books on how to handle depression.
The Beauty At War star has denied this during an interview as this is also a sensitive issue for her. She has retracted from her previous statements and eventually expressed, "I didn't say I have depression! You can't believe the reports!"
After mustering composure, she continued by saying, "Actually one out of four people has this type of illness. I tell people my shocking stories because people in Hong Kong have too many problems, but they are too scared to face them."
Tang has also said that she is willing to share her problems publicly so that it will create awareness for people who have same problems as her.
Tang has been on an infinite string of failed relationships, the recent one was with a man 10 years younger than her.
When asked if she was often at home to recuperate, she replied, "I have to love myself more because I'm faced with immense pressure. I've been working for 20 years and stress has accumulated-life is not all about working hard. Right now, I'm resting at home. Everyone in Hong Kong uses their health in exchange for work and money."
