It didn't take long for Jennifer Lopez to mend her broken heart.

The Latina superstar, who only last week broke-up with her partner of two-and-a-half years Casper Smart, is reportedly dating ladies' man, Maksim Chmerkovskiy.

The two have danced together before the cameras, once, and appear to have concluded once wasn't enough. They first danced together at the 2013 American Music Awards where JLo performed a tribute to Celia Cruz. They have kept in touch since, said sources.

"They are friends and have been talking," a source quoted by People magazine said. "I think they could (become a couple). Who knows what will happen?

Maksim's been around the block a lot of times, having dated Kate Upton (you lucky man), sexy sportscaster Erin Andrews and Meryl Davis (his Dancing with the Stars partner when they won the top prize), among many others.

Maksim is a Ukrainian Latin ballroom dance champion, choreographer and instructor. He became famous as one of the professional dancers on DWTS.

The dating rumors come at an awkward time for JLo, whose split from Casper Smart is less than a week old. Maksim has confirmed his split with Meryl, however.

To be fair to JLo, the rumors say she's only just begun dating Maksim. But that's how hook-ups begin, right?

JLo just finished thrilling everyone as an opening act at the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil today. Maksim is somewhere in India doing heaven knows what.
