Drone Mobile Lets You Control your Car from Anywhere in the World

DroneMobile is an app and hardware solution that allows car owners to connect to their vehicles from anywhere in the world using their smartphone or desktop PC.
Smart cars have been equipped with OBD (on-board diagnostics) ports to increase their "brain" power. The app allows a driver to remotely turn-off his car with just a swipe on his smartphone.

DroneMobile comes with a US$550 remote start module; a telematics device and a GPS unit connected to the computer installed in the car. The app also enables a driver to remotely control the locks of his car, as well as the locks in the windows and the trunk.
The app is free but the service upgrade costs US$50 annually or US$120 annually if you go for the premium version. The first 90 days is a trial period and it's free.
Getting the premium version is the only way you can get the GPS tracker, according to project manager Bryan Park of Firstech. The tracker is great since it will keep tabs on the location of a car in case the vehicle's stolen. Also, if a friend borrowed your car and you want to make sure he's safe, the GPS comes in handy.
You can also use the app in many other vehicles. The app is downloadable both for Android and iOS powered phones.
