Reports are in that Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds are now proud parents, although it was not yet revealed what the baby's gender is.

Blake gave birth in their Bedford, N.Y., home just before New Year, Page Six breaks the news.

The couple, who were known for their privacy, surprised the press when they announced that they have wedded in September 2012.

The former Gossip Girl star announced her pregnancy only in October on her website, Preserve, displaying her baby bump (for the first time).

The 27-year-old then mom-to-be quickly emerged as one of the most glamorous preggy celebs in Hollywood, appearing on red carpet events wearing fabulous and chic gowns.

In an interview with E!, Blake said that she did not feel nervous about having a baby, saying that she came from a big family. She explained that while she was never really able to look after her siblings, being the youngest, herself, she, however, was "always the person who's taking everyone else's kid and putting them on my hip, so I've kinda always been a mama. So we'll see," she said.

The actress was also vocal about her interest to give birth to many children.

"If I could spit out a litter of kids, I would," she said in an interview with Marie Claire for its August issue.

Reynolds also look forward to raising a big family with Blake.

"We'd love to have a big family. We both come from big families-my parents did four, Blake's did five. A lot of people say it's crazy, but we'll only know when we're there, you know?" the actor said in an interview with Details magazine.

Asked in November when he was ready for his impending fatherhood, Reynolds said: "I don't have a weak stomach," proud with the fact that he is "good with diapers, diarrhea and all that kind of stuff," explaining that raising "lots of nieces and nephews," enabling him to get "done it all before."
